1984 - born in Bad Saarow/Berlin, Germany

1989 - left Berlin and went to school in Viersen, Germany

2000 - went to school in Dallas, Texas

2003 - obtained German high school/college diploma in Viersen, Germany

2004 - started my studies of communication design (which involves all media and art direction) in Düsseldorf, Germany

2005 - decided to dedicate my career to the creation of images

2006 - moved to New York City

2007 - returned to Düsseldorf

2008 - won ARC Awards: Gold for annual report cover photography and bronze for photography (again in 2010)

2009 - obtained a degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, called »Dipl.-Des. for Communication Design«

2010 - exhibitions of »Panography« in France and worldwide (see art gallery section), nominated for Prix Arcimboldo

2010 - founded Lumio (Lumio GmbH), an online software created to smoothen the communication of photographers and their clients.

2011 - moved to Cologne, Germany

Everything involving photography has been my passion since the late 1990s.

The most exciting thing to me is working on projects that involve the construction of ideas and their execution until the end. Being a designer helps me approach the subject from a broader scope and keep the overview in mind.

I work worldwide, but spend most of my time in Cologne and Düsseldorf, Germany where I have a studio, a functional network of make-up artists and models, in Berlin and New York City.

My artist representation is Getty Images' Global Assignment worldwide (see section below). Furthermore, you can find existing stock photography of mine with Getty Images and Westend 61.
